Chata Jakobína is here for all those who want to hear the silence of the mountains. Nestled in the middle of the forest in Račkova dolina in the Western Tatras, from where many hiking and cycling trails lead, with skiing available in winter at SKI Podbanské. It is a starting point for both the High and Low Tatras. It was built in May 1969 and, wearing a new look, has been welcoming guests since December 2022.

Kitchen: refrigerator with a freezer box, ceramic glass cooker with electric oven, kettle, microwave and basic kitchen equipment (pots, pans, plates, cutlery for 8 people, glasses, cups, cutting boards, etc.)
Hygiene equipment: towels, bath towels, blankets, kitchen towels, cleaning products and paper towels
Other equipment: the chalet includes a baby cot, a hatchet, a wood saw; briquettes or firewood are prepared for heating
The chalet has a covered outdoor terrace with seating, and there is a fire pit nearby. Drinking water comes from its own source. The nearest grocery store is in Pribylina, about a 20-minute drive away
